    Big XII to add schools within days?

    So with this lineup we'll have the Babtists, the Mormons and the Disciples of Christ in the league. Maybe need to round it out. Anybody know of a good Catholic school that plays football?

    Good point on the travel. The Northwestern game would be a sellout. They would be thrilled. They average about 37,000 and their stadium holds 47,000. That and a weekend in Chicago would be a fun tri....Oh...wait...never mind. But still a good point.

    I've come up with a metaphor to describe what ou and texas have done here. I liken it to a man who has been happily married to a beautiful woman for years. The marriage is great but suddenly he just up and leaves her for his younger secretary. And after that everybody starts paying a price.

    texas has screwed over the Big 12 twice now. And as I like to mention every chance I get they won 83% of their games in the 10 years prior to the formation of the longhorn Network. In the ten years since....58%. But I'll set the over/under as to the amount of time it will take texas to screw...

    One thing I can say is that even though it's not readily apparent today as to specifically why....the fact that we might not be associated with Texas anymore is a big plus. They screwed over the Big 12 twice now. And there is no reason to believe they won't do the same to the SEC in some way...

    So a quick eyeball only comparison of the lists from 2009 and 2019 shows these teams as the programs with the largest percentage growth over that period. This is their percentage growth and their 2019 average attendance. Iowa State is 6th. Only one of the top 6 teams has a larger 2019...
