Nebraska now the only Big 12 team w/o starting QB

You could play the what if card with every team. At the end of the day, you are what your record says you are. Nebraska and Iowa should both be very solid teams this year. I don't think either of them is great, but in general, I don't think there are many great teams heading into this season. I...

Nebraska now the only Big 12 team w/o starting QB

Not only has Nebraska not named a starting quarterback, they haven't named a single starter yet. They must be in big trouble.

Huskers lose second starter to season-ending leg injury today

I did say it was based on practice performance, but they still have to prove it in the game. Of course, the only "evidence" that matters is game performance. The o-line is still my biggest concern for Nebraska. Just because you return starters doesn't mean they will be good.

Huskers lose second starter to season-ending leg injury today

How do you know I don't have evidence?

    Nebraska, really lightened up schedule!!

Blame Steve Pederson for the crap schedule we have this year. Osborne added the Fresno State, Wyoming, and Southern Miss games back on our schedule soon after he took over. Scheduling is getting really tough for these AD's and it's only going to get tougher once the Big 12 and Big 10 go to 9...

Huskers lose second starter to season-ending leg injury today

I'm not trying to get in a ******* match with a fellow Husker. You did say you thought either Lee or Martinez would be the starter. Starting job is between Green and Lee, but Martinez will get some time in special packages (i.e. Wildcat type stuff). Lee is impressing in Fall camp so far, but...

Huskers lose second starter to season-ending leg injury today

That's the biggest issue with the Smith loss. He was the top back-up at Center and Guard (even though he played Tackle last season, he wasn't in the top two at either side this season). That means Qvale and Pensick (both rsFR) really need to step up and be ready to fill back up roles this season.

Huskers lose second starter to season-ending leg injury today

Middleton announced it on Sunday or Monday night. He will start classes next week and be a walk-on, at least for this upcoming fall semester. Martinez will not win the job. He will get some PT in special packages but he will not be the starter at any point this season barring something...

Huskers lose second starter to season-ending leg injury today

So, because they haven't publicly named a starter means their QB play is going to be terrible? I guess it's okay for the ISU fans to think their QB play will be much better than last year, but it's not okay for Nebraska fans to think the same of their team. Both teams had lack luster QB play...

QB play will be much improved this year.

Huskers lose second starter to season-ending leg injury today

Whoa there...Smith was a 1.5 year starter who was demoted to 2nd team this spring and fall. Don't get me wrong, it's a significant loss because he was probably the top back up lineman, but it's not the end of the world. Similar with Fisher. He got a decent amout of PT last year as a rsFR and...

    Best way to invest $5,000?

There are so many variables that go into that equation. What else do you have saved? What is your risk tolerance? Do you have any big purchases coming up that you would need that money for? Bottom line, don't just do what someone tells you is best if they don't ask you any of these questions.

    Omaha Zoo

Agree with this and what everyone else says. Desert is boring, but below the Desert dome is the swamp exhibit, and it's very cool.

Is Alexander Robinson the most underrated player in the nation?

I think A-Rob is getting some respect before the season starts. It's just that the Big 12 has quite a few good backs this year. Daniel Thomas, DeMarco Murray, Baron Batch, Cyrus Gray and Chirstine Michael, Roy Helu, Kendal Hunter, Rodney Steward, and A-Rob. That's 8 out of 12 teams that have top...

    Nebraska, really lightened up schedule!!

San Diego State has never been on the Nebraska schedule. They play South Dakota State this year. Nebraska has never dropped an opponent that was on their schedule. Like I said before, they had teams back out of their agreement to play Nebraska, but not the other way around.

    NFL: Suh

Suh did buy the iPads for the Nebraska football locker room. They are attached to each locker because NCAA bylaws won't allow for the players to take them home. They are plugged in the entire time. You don't need a service agreement for an iPad.

40 billionaires pledge to give away half of wealth

I wish Warren Buffett would donate to Nebraska athletics like Boone does for OSU. He could make T. Boone look insignificant.
