Baylor site has a Big 12 Stats article

I think just having more games to mitigate the Iowa game will help the 2018 Offense number. I’d expect that to improve as the bad outlier game gets more games diminishing its impact. As for any other team with the QB rotation issues it’s hard to argue anyone other than maybe Kansas or Baylor...

Baylor site has a Big 12 Stats article

I’m a little surprised at how much OSU changed. Their O is down and if Purdy’s number vs them was under what others have done the defense must be really struggling

Couple of good Big 12 articles

Defensively ISU was significantly better in each of the metrics other than yards per drive. Explosive plays, red zone, and points per drive. Offense was average except for doing really well on YPD. If ISU can bring the explosive plays and RZ up it should translate to more points.

Couple of good Big 12 articles

To be fair the article wasn’t going too far into team changes for anyone.

Take ISU to cover against Baylor!

If BU wins 49-28 with backups getting scored on like last year they won't fall in the polls. Briles will score 50-60 then run it a lot. Did it vs Tech, WV, SMU, KU, Rice, etc... If they happen to score on a run or return so be it but he usually backs off.

How do Baylor WRs get so wide open?

The biggest thing (other than good personnel) is that they spread you out wider than anyone and then threaten the defense with a really powerful run game inside. Dealing with the run forces either tight 1 on 1 coverage or if you try and play it conservative over the top it magnifies the space...

    How to beat Baylor

Baylor was also extremely vanilla. Buffalo had an 8 man front against 6 blockers. BU could have thrown for 1,000 schematically but chose to give the OL reps in the run game even if outnumbered.

Recent history says we lost a close heart breaker to Baylor?

Baylor fans have said similar things about 2004's game.

Best one-liner of the week goes to TCU's Gary Patterson ...

Remaining P5 opponents: Nebraska-Miami Iowa-Pitt Northwestern-Notre Dame Indiana-Mizzou Maryland-Syracuse Michigan-Utah Best they can hope for is 7-10. Worst case is 1-16! If PSU, Nebraska, and Rutgers lose noncon games EVERY team would have lost one.

    Week 3 - The B12 takes on the B1G ...

Three Zero The Big Ten DESPERATELY needs Nebraska to avoid the upset against the Canes. If they go down the following will be true: PSU would be the only unbeaten The best P5 win in nonconference would be Rutgers winning by 3 over Mike Leach and Wazzu.

Not true. Perlman (NU Chancellor) voted as well. http://web.archive.org/web/20110923181331/http://omaha.com/article/20100830/BIGRED/708309872/-1 Read that article. It debunks 90% of the misinformation on NU's move and it's straight from Perlman. Huskers weren't looking until tipped off...

    BLOG: I don't blame Baylor for a soft non-con

Key word "could" and it will likely depend on the nature of the loss... OT loss on the road? Probably got a good chance. Blowout loss? Probably done for.

Love Bob Stoops talking crap to the SEC

At least Baylor's non-con is only 3 cupcakes and a 9th league game instead of a 4th cupcake. jeez and BU has the worst noncon in the league! SMU- Both play Lamar vs BU's Northwestern State- NWSU was higher in Sagarin and beat Lamar. Rice-BU's game at Buffalo - Pretty much the same with how...

Inside Baylor's new stadium, McLane ...

Other than the stadium capacity info on those two the rest should be pretty accurate. Enrollment and alumni counts don't fluctuate much.

Inside Baylor's new stadium, McLane ...

ISU would show up bigger in terms of local butts in seats, no question. However BU does really well considering the following numbers: Undergrad Enrollment: 12,500 Alumni living in McLennan County or an adjacent County: 25,800 (That is around 25% of Baylor's alumni in-state.) Combined number...
