Yep, balancing out what position the recruits play is important too. Having a bunch of awesome WRs is good, but if you whiff on your QB recruits, it doesn't matter nearly as much how good the WRs are. Ideally your team synergizes well and the whole is better than the sum of the parts. -

They commit to both the coach and the school imo. Something like 75% coach, 25% school, but depends on the kid too of course. There's a reason you see a lot of kids transfer when a coach leaves, but there's also a reason they don't all transfer. -

To be at least slightly fair, he played more games than like 2/3 or 3/4 of the college RBs. However looking at per play or per game stats also has the issue that some of the people leading those stats have small sample sizes. Either way, it's just a preseason "award". It's the postseason ones... -

Yeah I agree with others here saying that the Athletic is really worth it if you follow any sorts of sports. If you are only an Iowa State fan and don't care about any other team at all, then it might not be worth it, but they have good coverage of most any sport. They also have deals regularly... -

Looks like a crystal ball was put in for Minnesota, but that was almost a year ago, lot could have changed since him. Linemen seems to be something we have lacked a bit with this cycle, but I could've wrong. Either way, would be great to get him! -

It would be nice if some of the potential recruits feel that way and commit to us in the very near future, but if they don't immediately commit to us, it isn't the end of the world. It's okay if they take their time, just so long as they commit to us in the end ;)
