you can blame cotton for that. he wasnt used much til the end of the season. If the awards were for the last 2 weeks of the year...then we got an argument, but its not.
if he goes to Tulane he has the same problem that he had here. Recruiting. He has to compete with the likes of LSU, Alabama, Auburn, and the rest of the SEC. And Tulane does not have that kind of reputation to compete with those guys.
they have a lot more to play for (getting a "W" against their old coach who recruited them) and the fact its at UNI makes it that much tougher. I see UNI really pressing Taylor and forcing our other guys to come up with the points. 7.5 is fair because of that.

they actually had decent coverage this afternoon on ESPN NEWS (Ch 22 on Mediacom). They mentioned Chizik being the replacement and the fact hat we have had only 2 winning seasons since 2002 (they actually had a visual of each of our seasons and the overall and conference records we put up -...
couldnt have said it better myself. Cyclone fans have too long have used EIU as the benchmark for comparison for the level of sucess in athletics. We have to ignore what they think in Iowa City and be concerned with whats going on in Ames. That way in time those Hawkeyes can use us as their...
Koetter would be awesome, but he will most likely get a HC spot elsewhere. I say someone who understands how to run an effective West Coast Offense would be ideal. Especially with the WR's we have here and it wouldnt hurt to see Blythe and Meyer light it up next year with a spread O.
if we were gonna spend a lot of money on something, im glad its FB. it brings in the most revenue, and JP said himself that if FB is down, it affects the entire Athletic Department.
