    Well, thats one vote down, and if the Prez of PSU (ISU Alum) wants us in we only need two more schools that want us in in order to block expansion, or at least get us a serious look.

    He is talking about academics, Tech is tier 3 just like K-State CC. We are a tier 1 research school.

    Wow that's awesome. Really happy with the direction our athletic department is heading (i.e. up) and glad that we beat Texas :smile:.

    I talked to my friends at Wisconsin that have absolutely no sway whatsoever and they assured me that they are on it :jimlad:. My point was that we most likely have some friends in the Big 10 in our corner and they aren't universally against us.

    Personally I don't think that Iowa would be the only school to want us in. If I understand this correctly the Big 10 University Presidents have most of the sway and Penn State's President is an ISU alum. Also, I would think that Pollard's connections to Wisconsin would have some effect...

    If this happened I would be going to away games at Wiscy, Minn and Northwestern for sure. That said, I'm not holding my breath.
