    Every year we see players leave the team...even in the good years when we were winning conference championships we had players leave the team. As much as we hate to see this annual exodus of players...its inevitable that players are going to continue to leave the team. Examples... Adam...

    Wait and see....wait and see....wait and see....what he does without Beasley and Walker next year....I hope that Kansas State realizes the implications of Martin as their coach before they are under NCAA investigation....if they aren't already.

    2008-2009 Schedule so far

    I would enjoy a series with Southern Miss, an up and coming C-USA program, coached by non other than Larry Eustachy. I would also enjoying seeing us play Tim Floyd's USC Trojans every once in a while.

    NCAA tourny (ISU related)

    Lute Olson vs. Greg McDermott.......What gives you the sense that if a legendary coach guides his team to the tournament every year why can't ours guide our Cyclones to the tournament every 3 out of 4 years. I love being optimistic but to expect way more and way beyond what our history shows...

    Watched ISU/Rutgers NIT game last night

    We failed to record a conference road win...that's why we didn't make the NCAAs that year. I believe that if Tim Barnes would have been eligible that season we definitely would have made a run to the Sweet 16 if not Elite 8.

    2009 Big XII tournament

    The men's venue and women's venue are across the street from each other, making it easy to catch back to back games at either or both venues. The Bricktown area provides great restaurants and a beautiful riverwalk.

    Eternal Optimism

    It's great to be optimistic. Keep in mind that any player on the 99-00 team would start on this year's squad. There is still along way to go to be back on the same level as those teams. I have complete faith in Coach McDermott and his staff, they will return us to glory. I believe next...

    sedrick johnson dual sport athlete

    There is a difference between an impact player and a contributing player. I would hope if SJ is allowed to play both he would be asked to contribute, not to be a star, and to provide depth at the small forward position.

    Treat before KC

    With 6 scholarship players leaving two years ago, and four last year we are bound to see some defections. I wish we could count on everyone returning every year but we still will see players leaving every once in a while.

    BB class on 2009 Question

    As is being talked about, McDermott will sign two players this spring which will take away scholarships from Petey and Haluska which were given to them when Vette and Brister transfered earlier this season.
