    I know you meant that in a positive way, but Prohm is way, way, way more the right coach for ISU than Eustachy was. We are blessed to have him.

    I just don't get why people say things like this. Simply not true that either were dirty players. Gathers was clearly not making a play on the ball. next time a player gets hurt. only then is he punished? basketball is not football.

    You can see how important Naz is to this team by last nite's less than stellar play and energy. His teammates need him on the court, and they know it. He's a key leader and motivator even when he's not making his 3's.

    When to cheer for the Hawkeyes?

    Me too. Brought tears to my eyes. I will be rooting for the hawks today. My middle child is an Iowa grad, my other two are at Iowa State. I am a cyclone forever, but what they have done this year is spectacular, and I am rooting for them to go all the way. I believe our time will come.
