    Breakdown Nebraska for me

Iowa is that bad huh? I've never had nothing but great experiences tailgating in Manhattan and especially Ames. Boulder has been so-so.

    Breakdown Nebraska for me

And the best D line the Huskers have seen in a long, long time was replaced with one of the best secondaries they've had in a long, long time. And yes, backups have seen quite a bit of playing time in games this year. Kansas State, most of the non-con, Missouri a little.

    Breakdown Nebraska for me

Nebraska has also scored a lot more this season than last, allowing a lot of mop up time for reserves at the end of some of these games, which gives up points. Last year NU averaged only 25.14 points per game, this year they are scoring 33.75 ppg.

The numbers aren't that far apart and there are still two more games to play before a final comparison can be made with the 2009 stats (14 games).

    Can anybody explain this?

No one works as hard as Matty P. He rewards all of his faithful Creighton rivals subscribers with well-written, in-depth articles about opposing PA announcers and how said announcers cost Creighton games.

Really good article about problems at Texas

Hardly obsessive. Lee Barfknecht is the Big 12 beat writer for the OWH and doesn't cover the Huskers. He has pieces about all the teams in the league on a regular basis. Every week he attends a non-Nebraska Big 12 game as part of his duties.

ESPN to pay Texas $12 mil a year for Longhorn sports

If that network takes off, Texas may very well give up that Big 12 revenue in favor of scheduling marquee games in an Independent schedule where they can air nearly every game on that network. They'd could conceivably make lost "Big 12 revenue" pretty quickly and then some if the thing takes off.

    Watch your backs against NU!

Everyone on the panel of ESPNU's "The Experts" said that the hit by Osborne on Gabbert was legal and there was nothing dirty about it.

Is Nebraska coaching "cheap shot" football?

Gabbert, who is 5 or 6 inches taller than the defender that came at him, lowered his head when the tackle was initiated. If Gabbert keeps his head up, he gets hit square in the numbers.

    Down With Nebraska

Texas outplayed Nebraska and outcoached Nebraska. The Horns deserved the win, no excuses there. They came prepared, Nebraska did not. With that said, it's not like Texas dominated the game, and Nebraska could have very easily won that game if they don't make the mistakes that they did. The...

    Down With Nebraska

Nebraska will be fine with Iowa and will be fine in the Big Ten. They had their chances to beat Texas and just didn't execute.

    Down With Nebraska

They did applaud UT. My entire section of the stadium did and also congratulated the Longhorn fans that made the trip up. Mack Brown's own words after the game: "I've said it many times," Brown said, "but this place is the best place to play in college football. These fans, all the publicity...
