    If we beat two Top 10 teams on a neutral we are probably a #4 seed at worst. More than likely a #3 seed in that situation as we would have 11 Quad 1 wins with 9 of those wins coming against the Top 25 in Net.

    I think you have to add Kansas State to that list. Honestly, the only two teams that would shock me if they won would be Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Iowa State, West Virginia and Texas Tech all could make a run depending on the matchups to the finals but tough to win three (or four) high...

    Three way tie allows us to finish above TCU and below Oklahoma State. OSU’s round robin record is 3-1, we are 2-2 and TCU is 1-3. OSU would be #5, us #6 and TCU is #7 if we have a three way tie at 8-10.

    It was based on Oklahoma State winning out us losing at Baylor. If OSU had won out and TCU had won a single game then regardless of the outcome on Monday we would have been a #7 seed.

    I'm not a hard disagree with you on this point. However, I think one of the issues with the last regime was "Do as I say, not as I do." If T.J. is preaching calmness and then he simply loses his **** on a ref it is a little more difficult to continue to preach calmness in the huddle.

    Johnny went 6 times in 15 years Floyd went 3 times in 5 years Larry went 2 times in 5 years Wayne went once in 3 years McDermott 0 for 4 years Fred went 4 times in 5 years. Prohm went 3 times in 6 years. TJ will be 2 for 2. One coach has done it more than 60% of the time over at least 5 years.

    Did they? How many times did Johnny go to the tournament 4 times in a row? Floyd? Eustachy? The only person that did it at that level of constantly was Hoiberg. So in the 40 years of ISU we have had exactly one period of time where we made 4 NCAA Tourneys in a row.

    No they returned Nowell and then signed the SEC Freshmen of the year. And then got a bunch of role players. The only difference between KSU and us is Nowell is as a senior what we hope Tamin may be able to grow into.

    Yeah. I feel pretty good about this point. I’m guessing at the P5 level that there are only 15-20 teams that have made the tourney the last 4 years in a row. I know the PAC-12 has zero. Big 12 has three (Tech, Baylor and Kansas). Big East has Villanova but that will end this year. SEC has two...

    I guess my expectation is not that a guy in his mid 40’s is going to consistently out coach Hall of Famers. He certainly outcoached Self and Drew on occasion this year. But Huggins is just as good as those two.

    Yes. It would be generally unreasonable for people to throw tantrums if we make the tournament but we are #75 in the country in offensive efficiency. If it looks pretty on offense but we go to the NIT is that going to give people warm fuzzies.
