High School Playoffs
Today's win against North Fayette was the 40th consecutive win. The guys work really hard and the past success breeds confidence and more success. We are looking for a good tough game against BHRV... heard they have a couple of 6'8" WR including Jordan Dykstra. -
RUGBY!!!
At one time there were close to 40 teams in Iowa, mostly college and town teams playing Fall and Spring seasons. There were A, B, and C divisions. The All-Iowa Tournament was in May every year and pretty much all teams in iowa came to compete.- SolonCy

I played rugby for about 15 years; started in Iowa Falls, couple of years for ISU and the finished with BlackHawks in Waterloo. The knock-on rule (NO passing or "knocking" the ball forward) and the offsides (no activity on opponents sides of ball; and on kicks, kicker is the offsides line)...- SolonCy

High School Playoffs
Looking forward to the Roland-Story City vs Solon game. Solon hasn't been seriously challenged this season, will be fun to play another 12-0 team. Any players in particular to watch for on the R-SC side? -

if its 2001, it is a game we won. of course there was a 7 out of 10 chance that it was a game we won, but being on the edges of Iowa City I figured they would show one of the few squawk wins -

Just checked the TV schedule and it shows Iowa vs Iowa State at 8:00pm tonight on FSN (ch 29 on Southslope, a local cable provider). The description doesn't say what year, but I'm guessing that it was last year's game. -

I am not a coach, so I'm not going state an absolute like he is or is not going to play in Hilton. However I have seen Bryan P. play as a freshman at Kirkwood and have seen him progess to play at ISU.
