    I call BS on the stop at 14. I think the goal is to get Arizona to jump ship and from there everything collapses. The Pac-12 could cobble something together with the current 9, but if Arizona jumps it forces Utah, ASU. OU, or UW to make a decision.

    This would be unreal. We'd end up getting to reward the two schools that have been the most open to leaving (CU AZ), add the 2 biggest brands (UO UW), and leave out the biggest Big-12 critics (ASU UU).

    You have to wonder if part of the impetuous for Colorado moving now is concern for what happens when the ACC blows up and Oregon and Washington jump to Big 10. In that scenario Colorado might not have had a seat at the Big-12 table. By doing things now they are in.
