Might be the dumbest thing I've heard in awhile. Because they'll pan to her a few times and mention her name you're not even watching the biggest sporting event in the world? Hopefully that was sarcasm/a joke that I just didn't pick up on. -
We Will Auction
Some items have the classic silent auction type bids, think it's mainly the big ticket ones that are hidden. Interesting concept, I assume those typically yield higher bids than the traditional method. Will be interesting to see just how short I am for the Purdy helmet.- Tailg8er

That's what I was thinking. Didn't Proctor himself say in an interview that Iowa reached out after the Saban news broke? That doesn't match up with this self-reported text from September (which I agree is a nothing burger on it's own)...- Tailg8er

2024 Football Schedule
Ha, absolutely not! I've lucked out and haven't had to miss any the past few years, but when I do I anticipate it'll be kid activity-related. I specifically try to schedule seasons/leagues outside of fall Saturdays, but that might get harder the older they get. -
2023 Season Tickets
Don't know if their donations are per seat or per 2/4 like ours, but comparable regardless. Still don't see any support that ours are "quite cheap" compared to our peers. -

Didn't know that, just looked quickly at their site. Looks like quite a few in the $400 + $200 donation range (some upper endzone that don't show any required donation), though. And that's with 7 games (including ISU at home), so still cheaper than our donor seats. I was going to compare to K... -

Yeah, compared to who? Looks like Iowa's season tickets are $350-450, so they're cheaper than ours. Texas Tech is anywhere from $190-$300, so they're cheaper.. Once upon a time ours were cheap, but $100/seat/game wouldn't qualify IMO... And that's before you factor in any donation. -

Did 2076 watch her growing up, though? Don't think he mentioned that enough. I can only assume anytime her game is on or she's mentioned, he goes out of his way to tell everyone at the hawk bar that he watched her coming up. 2024 Football Schedule
Well we've gotten 4 tickets the last few years, 2 of which are for the kids. Sometimes they either can't go, or really, really don't want to go (freezing games or stuff going on with friends). So it's nice to be able to recoup some of that cost by reselling those tickets... Hell, believe it or... -

Sure, there are 7, but no Iowa game that draws the highest prices. Also your biggest matchup is K State at the end of November in likely freezing temps. You'll be hard pressed to get face value if you need to sell any. -

Yeah, not thrilled. I get it, there's an extra game, but like you said - no Iowa game this year to recoup anything. Can't imagine the secondary market for this slate of games will be much of anything. It's damn near $100/seat/game for the donor sections (not counting any donation). 2 of those... -

Have you ever hated someone and ended up liking them?
Hassel would be about the closest I can think of, but I can't say I ever hated him. More disliked due to his hawk trolling, but since Iowa Everywhere I've grown to like him a lot. He seems fair for the most part, and one is of the few hawk fans who isn't afraid to criticize them when warranted. -
