    I would agree that Wes was not ready to play as freshmen, but I think now (3 years later) that he could contribute. He can play point. He can shoot and he can play D. I think we have upgraded with the guys we have but I think folks on message boards downplay other conferences that they know...

    athletes don't have to be comparable for conference strength to be comparable. styles are totally different. Mountain West had more teams in the sweet 16 last year than the big 12. Styles are just different...

    Definitely right in that the caliber of athletes in the 2 leagues are not comparable, I wouldn't/couldn't argue that. Wes is better than people give him credit for and would have ended up getting minutes. He wouldn't be on the all big 12 team or anything close.

    10x better on Defense. You guys haven't watched Eik play much this year...I have watched probably 20 of CSUs games, he is good. Plays a lot like Scotty but not as good of a shooter but better on D. He is first team all conference in a conference that is ranked almost equal to the big 12.

    not sure I agree with that...if KU, MU, K-State and ISU win ---all favored....next tickets will be tough and go up a lot.
