    Another double foul!

    The simultaneous charge/block call is ridiculous and only exposes the subjectivity of basketball refereeing. The NCAA ought to mandate that if the refs want to call both a charge and a block on the same play then they should call no foul and any points scored on the play will count.

    Idea for the Spring Game

    I don't know if Iowa State would allow this. I don't even know if its feasible otherwise. But here goes. Would it be possible for some of the Cyclone fanatics to take a video camera with them into the stadium and film the game? Maybe we could organize it so that someone focuses on the lines...

    Maybe this is old news, but I just saw this quote in an article in the Iowa State Daily. I was a McCarney supporter, but if this is true, Mac was nuts! Why would he do this to Meyer? Is this why Blythe's production was down last year?

    He's got a newborn kid. Double major. Getting ready for the NFL. And now he's jumping into the thespian game and he's apparently pretty good at it. That's impressive as hell. My hat's off to him.

    He looks like a slightly faster Stevie Hicks except that he doesn't want to practice his dance moves on the line of scrimmage. Of course, these are the highlights... Hopefully he has indeed gotten a little quicker since then.

    Bust: S Brandon Owens, Minnesota (#1) – To no fault of his own, Owens was never able to reach his full potential on the field after widespread nerve damage prematurely ended his career at Beaver Stadium in 2005. Wasn't he one that got away from us at the very end of the recruiting season...
