Why did SJ have so few touches at RB?

Anyone have a screenshot of Shontrelle down? I thought the same thing watching it live -- everyone I was with dismissed it when I said he looked down. When the announcers didn't even address it, I figured I was blind.

    HOWARD GOING TO THE LAKERS

Lakers and Sixers clear winners, Denver -- understand it but probably wouldn't have done it, and the Magic sold its biggest asset for 25 cents on the dollar. The biggest benefit they received was dumping Richardson's contract.

    NFL: Poor Matt Flynn

He supposedly ran a 4.4 at their tryout, and Rosenhaus wasn't the source on that. If that's accurate, a one year deal for the veteran's minimum is a no brainer.

MLB: Cubs call up Jackson and Vitters

It's not like they weren't active at the deadline -- made at least three moves, right? They could still have some deals in the works. Hence the Jeff Baker trade. Kind of wish we acquired him, to be honest.

MLB: Cubs call up Jackson and Vitters

Jackson is starting in center and hitting second today. Vitters is not in the lineup.

    Liriano traded to White Sox

We'll need to make a move to get a backup IF since our farm is hilariously bad. Wouldn't be surprised if Vizquel returned.

    Liriano traded to White Sox

Pedro Hernandez debuted a few weeks ago in Fenway Park as a spot starter. I like Escobar, but he is a utility infielder. Really like this as a Sox fan.

    DirectTv vs Dish vs Mediacom

I've had DirecTV since October, and the TV went out twice (for brief periods) due to weather. The first instance was fixed in 30 seconds by wiping snow off the satellite. I wasn't with Mediacom before (not around the area), but it's a big improvement over our cable provider here.

NCAA source: "Unprecedented" penalties against Penn State

The NCAA will fine Penn State at least $30 million and perhaps as much as $60 million for its involvement in the Jerry Sandusky scandal, industry sources told CBSSports.com's Brett McMurphy. NCAA could fine Penn State as much as $60 million as part of Sandusky sanctions - CBSSports.com

2012 Olympic team saying the could beat the "Dream Team"

Yeah, I understand -- I just read your post too quickly. Can't really go wrong with any of those. Who wouldn't have made the 92 team if anyone could stand Isiah Thomas?

2012 Olympic team saying the could beat the "Dream Team"

You're right, I did forget about Deron Williams. I was looking at Clones85's list and saw Westbrook immediately after Rose, who obviously isn't playing. Again -- in no way am I suggesting the matchup would be a difference maker in the game. The Dream Team would win. Fun to think about, though.

2012 Olympic team saying the could beat the "Dream Team"

I'm not suggesting anything other than I said. The 92 team would win -- and not have a good defensive matchup for Westbrook. Especially if we're playing with modern day hand checking rules.

2012 Olympic team saying the could beat the "Dream Team"

I understand you're a Jazz fan. Stockton would do an excellent job getting in passing lanes, but he's not keeping Russell Westbrook in front of him. Curtis Stinson got a lot of steals too.

2012 Olympic team saying the could beat the "Dream Team"

I agree the 92 team would win, but I don't think they'd have anyone to guard Westbrook (assuming Jordan's on Kobe and Pippen on LeBron).

Penn State University - The Freeh Report

Absolutely. Read today that Penn State's actually seen an increase in donations since the story broke, but that will largely go toward paying civil suits. This won't go away for a while, and it will be expensive.

Penn State University - The Freeh Report

Exactly -- this shouldn't be difficult. The NCAA let seniors transfer after banning USC from bowl games for paying Reggie Bush. Letting kids transfer who don't want to be associated with a unversity that harbored a child rapist shouldn't even be a question.

Penn State University - The Freeh Report

Penn State covered up the crimes to protect its football program -- the NCAA is absolutely within its rights to act on it. Punish the program and allow its athletes to transfer anywhere they'd like without sitting out a year.
