    We are season ticket holders, and I have always been under the impression that there is no reentry allowed, so it the Liberty Bowl allows it, that would be different from Tigers games. I am not sure if I would believe the website at all. It states that the parking lots open 2 hours before event...

    The Liberty Bowl stadium is surrounded by parking lots. The Green Lot (Tiger Lane) and the Blue Lot are sold out, but there are at least 3 more parking lots owned by the Liberty Bowl, within walking distance of Tiger Lane.     Yes, it always makes my skin crawl when I see someone tell an out of towner to go to Corky's or The Rendezvous. The Memphis Zoo is amazing, didn't even think to recommend it.

    The atmosphere at Huey's is part of what makes it great. Seriously, where else, as an adult, can you shoot toothpicks from a straw, at the ceiling? And, the food is good, too.

    It is possible. Tiger lane is also a dead end, so maybe once everyone is in, they will do this. I'm excited to see all of this. It seems like, looking here, that there will be just as much cardinal and gold as blue and grey. It should be great atmosphere.

    Overton Square and Cooper/Young are also cool, and closer to the stadium. New Years weekend is a big weekend for Beale, and especially if Memphis wins, I would expect pandemonium on Beale, in a good way. :)

    I'd keep watching, and check AriBNB. Midtown is full of old houses, and many of them have carriage houses that have been converted to condos. The hotel where you are staying is a little out, but the Interstate that runs just north of it is a main corridor, so you can get everywhere pretty quick.

    I have never seen it done that way, but I haven't ever been to a Bowl game there. The lots around Tiger Lane usually fill up with tailgaters, too. The grassy areas around all the lots are usually full of tents.

    This is all correct. The large grassy area sometimes has Bounce Houses and games for the kids. I am not sure if it will for the bowl game, but since it is our home field, and we know it's ok, they may be set up. It is also not usual for people to be tossing a ball around, or just hanging out...
