    Arrived in Parkersburg just under 5 minutes after the tornado. So didn't experience it directly, but spent the next few hours trying to help. That's about as intense as I need to get.

    There is probably a bigger difference now from the mid-00s when it comes to tornadoes in bowing segments (QLCS tornadoes). Last decade has seen a jump in both resolution and scan speeds/schemes on existing radar that has made it easier to spot these features that are so small and/or short lived...

    First radar 13 had early 90s was a boat radar on top of the tower downtown one of the engineers rigged up. Great feature with the cone of silence right over downtown, but it was faster than waiting for NWS feed over early 90s data speeds.

    Yeah, I know. There were funnels. Quite a few, and in Dallas County too. Different type of funnels, though. There was not a tornado warning. Sirens shouldn't have been activated.

    Berrios must be traded. If you can get anything for Donaldson you have to do it, and they should probably get rid of him anyway if they can't. Dobnak and Astudillo are carnival sideshow acts. If they still have legit planned "roles" next year, we'll know they aren't serious about contending...

    Cruz seems like he still has it, we'll see if he can maintain. No way Donaldson plays 100 games. Trade Simmons ASAP. Cut him, whatever. Just get him out of the clubhouse. My bullpen take has not held up, but I stand by 1000% that the juiced ball season really screwed over their lineup...

    Simmons error earlier in the game. Colome error in the 9th. Kepler made an error in the 9th, ruled a hit, but it was literally in the pocket of his glove. Awful inning.
