    Not a fan of the fouling rules with quarters. Potentially not shooting FTs until the 9th foul of a half doesn't seem like a great way to clean up physical play/freedom of movement. Even more gaming of the "they can't call every foul if you foul constantly" crowd isn't the way I want to go.

    I don't really have a great answer on all of that. There are a lot of spots that need another radar. And you can get into some really hilly terrain down there, which, depending which radar is looking where can be an issue.

    I'm a little concerned that the lineup is essentially the same as last year's. Except Cruz is another year older, and Donaldson is another year older and another year...hurter. Lineup was really hurt last year by the dejuiced ball, so maybe going with Simmons is the right move to focus on...

    DVN forecasting the snow to be a little more heavy/wet and not blow around as much...I guess. They say one thing one place, doesn't really match their discussion though. It's kinda just nit picking with blizzard "criteria" I guess, so we get the competing warnings.

    Way more then 9 in Adel I'm sure. That total was reported last night around 7 or 8. Most of these spotters will check in again around 7 am. Expect updates around 8.

    10.3" is also 1.5" short of cracking the top-10 for all time snowiest single calendar days at Des Moines, though obviously with 13.5" and counting in West Des Moines, YMMV.
