    Outside of Matt Campbell who can’t beat IOWA, JP really has your athletics humming along. Barta has his faults, but the faults aren’t egomaniacal or immature. Hence Barta’s position on the CFP and his red carpet treatment of ISU in a window dressing bowl game. You should be licking his boots...

    I’m excited to see how his skills translate from the larger KC Metro area to Iowa 4A. He was the player of the year in KC area and that alone is a big revelation to the entire Iowa HS football scene, IMHO.

    It’s amazing what being ranked in every major sport (CFB, MBB, WBB, & MW) at the same time will do for a man’s image. It’s a vocal message board minority that really give much of a damn about things outside of results, revenue, and a clean nose with the NCAA.
