    Philadelphia has very cheap buses that run to Manhattan. They leave out of Philadelphia's Chinatown and go to New York's Chinatown. Cost is $15-$20. You can take a cab ride to the bus terminal, or a SEPTA train. Where are you staying? Renting a car might be a fun/reasonably cheap option too...
