Gallery went to Iowa as a 240lb tight end, not a tackle. Those players may have been "recruited" meaning that the coaches talked to them, but most if not all were not given scholarships out of high school. -

Recruiting Iowans is all well and good, but most of the time it's a waste of time and resources if the recruit is from eastern Iowa. Secondly, there are usually 2-3 truly BCS caliber Iowa recruits each year. You cannot win in the Big 12 with a team full of Iowa kids. You gotta recruit Texas... -
