Viewership keeps growing. Sunday's episode was the most viewed episode to date (4.72M and 1M more for the later showing). Also, they sell a **** ton of DVDs which is a huge revenue stream for HBO. If all these things continue, then yes they will make it to the end. -

I finally watched episode 3.1 last night. I thought it was really good. They seem to be spending more on special effects this year: Dragons, the giant, the scorpion thing that tried to kill Dany, Ghost... they all looked awesome. -

GoT has been officially renewed for a 4th season. Certainly no surprise, but nice to see. I have yet to see Sunday's episode (out of town for a long weekend), so I will leave this here and quickly exit this thread before I get tempted to read about what happened. -

Does anyone know if the first episode coincides with a free HBO weekend? It has the last two seasons, though I failed realize it before. That way you can put off the HBO subscription on extra week. -

I tried a couple interesting ones this week. Southern Tier Creme Brulee Stout and Oso Bourbon Barrel Night Train. The Southern Tier stout came in at almost 10%, but you couldn't taste the alcohol at all.
