    I just happened to remember it, so I could hop to Michigan's team page on there and find it. No idea how you'd find it without a database of old poll data (like collegepollarchive has). That poll I linked mentions it is apparently the largest jump from unranked to ranked tied with KU in '89-'90...

    Public figures have an enormous bar to clear in order to win defamation cases. Newspapers are also provided with significant first amendment protections when it comes to libel. The only outcome here is significant legal expenses for the university (and everyone from ISU involved here is well aware)

    TJ and his staff are all public figures, the bar to clear is incredibly high. If Tang was, say, pointing at a picture of ISU Jim Carrey saying 'this guy named (name) was spying on our huddle' that'd be a potentially different story
