I swear commercial breaks are different between college and pro but everything I find says the same thing. There are 8 commercial breaks per half in both. I can't find anything definitive about length of break. Everyone negotiating their own media rights deals certainly makes that all the more...
'86 had lots of great movies, but odds are I've seen The Great Mouse Detective the most of any of them. Came out 2 days after I was born. I wore out at least one VHS of it as a kid
About as often as ancient Greeks and Egyptians, colonial America, or any other notable time period. Never unless I'm watching or reading something related.
The one thought that has always stuck with me is that ancient Egyptians had archeologists studying their own 4000 year old history.
NW and Vandy are at the bottom because of their entry requirements and its affect on recruiting. The jobs at Minnesota, Rutgers, Illinois, Miss St, and Mizzou all have a massive advantage because of the media rights deals. I think some Big 12 and ACC schools right now can make themselves look...
How many tiers we talking?
If there are 5, Iowa is a 3 at worst. Any job in the B1G or SEC has a 70M advantage over the field.
Tier 1 is the 5-10 blue bloods. Tiers 2 and 3 are the rest of the B1G and SEC. Clemson and FSU are among the few that can and should argue their inclusion even being...
He was laughing at a dumb question from Randy. If your takeaway from a joke in a press conference is that they don't practice 3rd and long situations I'd suggest taking a few Saturdays off
Ran into a guy in Minnesota wearing a Bix7 shirt. I asked if he was from the Quad Cities since I grew up there and know the race well. Guess I could've just dropped a 'Go Lancers' to start that one off.
When I get **** from random Hawk fans now I've just resorted to telling them to go back to...
There are a lot of great Dylan covers, mostly because he's a god tier songwriter and has an, uh, acquired voice I guess?
The Seekers cover of The Times they are a Changin' is excellent. Peter Paul and Mary's version is great as well
There's an absolutely hilarious gif somewhere of the Buddy Hield era OU team trying to do a floorslap in unison, except Ryan Spangler is seconds behind the other 4

Why in the world did they try to give a new broadcast standard some productized marketing name? If you have an ATSC3 antenna and live in a market that has stations that turned it on, neat. Otherwise it's no different than what content you can get OTA...
Charity auction with some Maui Invitational/MBB memorabilia to bid on
https://e.givesmart.com/events/yi0/i/
There's an ISU ball signed by TJ and Bill
Also if you want to outbid the Dukies there's the 2018 Invitational Surfboard signed by all the coaches. You know how badly you need Steve...
It's weird, even in Rebels Thrawn is just presented as "this dude is super bad news". In this canon his only impact on the Civil War is, what, the space battle where the home plate/drydock they stole gets blown up? I guess they could turn him into Zahn's character once he's back from nuGalaxy
I have no idea why you couldn't allow official embossed/watermarked tickets for entry but not printed barcodes. Just charge people a $10 'convenience' fee for requesting printed season tickets. (I get Ticketmaster is likely the sticking point)
