    Re: Cal/ND I started a thread earlier, but I'm hoping for a CAL victory. What an ugly game though. From an RPI standpoint, it would be nice to see CAL come in unblemished next week.

    I'm hoping they win the Old Spice Classic. There's a chance that if they do so (especially after beating #20 Temple last night) that they may creep in to the Top 25 on Monday. That would make our game against them next week even more fun and probably get some more people to come out. Also...

    what upcoming win will show that we are for real?

    Take care of business Saturday, win at UNI Wednesday and then hopefully in front of the biggest crowd in 3 years we beat CAL at home. If we do that, I'm not saying we're going to crack the top 25, but there will start to be some buzz going around about Iowa State.

    I am 100% with you with what you said here. I think I speak for a lot of people though, that we won't really know what to expect until we play some tougher opponents. Next weeks games against UNI and CAL should give us a better idea.

    I think we all can agree that we have been pleasantly surprised through the first two weeks of the season, but saying we're a top 15 (maybe even a top 25) team is pushing it. I love this team, and they are extremely fun to watch, but it's hard to know what to expect when we haven't played...

    First game out of the state of Iowa and them having a legit big man makes this game a little daunting. Ever since that game in Hawaii a couple years ago, road non-conference games against inferior teams makes me a little uneasy. Hopefully under CFH, that will change.
