Don't worry. They've already talked themselves into the idea that his backup is actually better than Cade.
That’s sad for him. From what I can tell there is not much difference between him and the backup other than NIL money, but hate to see anyone get hurt.
Where else is he getting that money from?
Freerents in his press conference today, stated he was going to come back to EIU next year. Kid could always change his mind, but it sounded like a done deal.
NIL money and about 80 pounds. The backup makes Nate Stanley look like he was on the keto diet.
I actually think with some experience Hill will be just as decent at McNamara. Cade wasn’t anything amazing.
What does it matter? There are at LEAST 3 games left where they could not run an offensive play and still win off punt returns or defensive scores.
Feel bad for the kid, but on the bright side does this get their nepo baby OC out of getting fired this year?
Honestly, only the Wisconsin game should require a QB to actually have a pulse. The BIG West is absolutely brutal...more so than most other years. To think they still could be a 10-11 win team...
He's only at 22 points with Cade and the non-conference portion of the schedule. I figured they'd find a convenient way to ignore that very widely discussed expectation anyway. But you're right, this is probably the get out of jail free card for him.
