I really have no big argument either way. Both are classics. I voted for The Exorcist, but then changed it to Halloween as that is really the first horror movie to make an impression on me (I watched the Exorcist later on).

Not surprising. That movie is truly disturbing and a horror classic. I do think Halloween is an insanely influential movie though. It broke the mold in a lot of ways, and still today remains high on my personal list of favorite movies, regardless of genre.

Was truly a clash of titans.
