Norton looked great for about 5 minutes until he got hurt against SEMO. He never was the same after that. I don't think the ISU starting RB job has been this up for grabs in a long long time.

Everyone recalls the SEMO game, but his best game was actually versus TCU. When Cartevious had a crease, he was electric.

I suggest people review that game, which will likely make them more confident in Norton as the lead back. Although ISU got drubbed versus TCU, there were some nice individual performances, including Cartevious’s.
 
Still hoping the it will start to click for Eli like it did for Breece. Breece really struggled until it did for him, and then it was on
It took less than 20 carries for things to click for Breece. Halfway through his fr year he was the best rb in the league. If he was struggling, idk what you'd call Sanders.
