He has quite the spectrum of films. Some all-timers but also some headscratchers that are pretty bad. French Connection and Exorcist are all time classics and those were VERY early in his career. He never saw the same accolades as he did with those two.

I'm a big fan of To Live and Die in L.A.. I always thought it was underrated, although not on the level of TFC or The Exorcist. Also has a good soundtrack with some of Wang Chung's best in there.

Quentin Tarantino glowingly speaks about Friedkin’s film Sorcerer, waiting for it to pop up on TUBI! Friedkin’s WTF interview was really good.

Don't forget Blue Chips! Other than The Exorcist, my 2nd favorite Friedkin film is Sorcerer. That was a great film.
