Former Players Reveal Allegations of Toxic Culture Under P.J. Fleck

Didn't he lock a recruit in his office and wouldn't let him out until he committed or something like that? Seems like this kind of stuff has been surrounding him for a while.

The instruction was simple: Clap whenever Fleck entered the locker room.

“We had to [practice giving Fleck ovations] multiple times — the first time, because some other people in the back were not moving as quick as he wanted,” a third player told FOS.

Two other former players said that Fleck would reenter a room if he didn’t like the ovation he received.

WTF?

Wonder what that oar was actually used for

Seems like there's always rumblings of this with him. Some players and media will praise their love for him on the opposite side . I think it's a question of if you believe he's authentic on which way you go

There is commanding the room when you walk in and then there is this when you know you can't.

I feel like at this point any upset player can claim "toxic culture" regarding D1 football. Is there a team/program in the country that doesn't have issues? Bad teamates, coaches under insane pressure? Coaches willing to bend the rules a bit? Obvisouly there are levels from program to program but this just all feels like an easy way to get rid of a coach if/when the players or administration don't like them.
