Well he only played in 9 games in 3 years I saw so I'm not that surprised he wants to find playing time elsewhere.

Two years ago he was badly injured, last year I’m assuming he was rehabbing/recovering.

This departure is more a reflection of Tyson Veidt’s (occasionally maligned) recruiting at the position. Lots of competition and quality depth.

The coaches mentioned him this Spring.
