It also sucked having to leave guys like Chris Babb off the list, but there is only room for 10 options.

Given the offensive struggles the past couple years I'd take Tyrus McGee - instant offense off the bench. He could help improve the scoring average from 60s to 70s and take a little pressure off the defense to hold teams below 65 points every night.

If Milan and Omaha have fantastic freshman years I’d want Ejim for elite rebounding and defense. If they don’t have great output on offense I’d take Georges to manufacture some buckets

Given our current roster that is pretty guard heavy, I voted for Georges to play the stretch 4. Would also take Royce or Dustin.

Niang is the best player on the list but the upgrade of Monte at PG is what I voted for.

It’s not a slam on Tamin.

Look at all time big 12 records before the 5th/6th Covid year threw it off. Monte was top 5 and top 10 in all sorts of stats, like a dozen. All in four seasons without any extended fifth/sixth year or sit out year to develop.

Because we aren't certain of the offensive potential of the newcomers (and most of the returners aren't scoring machines), I chose Niang. But I'd be happy to add Morris, Kane or Ejim. Hogue would fit the Otz mentality.

Ultimately, any top-end player from multiple eras would be a boost (especially if we assume it's their "prime year(s)")
