Am I alone in much preferring the US Open to The Masters?
The Masters benefits from being the first significant event of the year. If it wasn't for that, I'd easily choose the US Open or The Open.
US Open is my favorite. Open Championship is second for some of the historic courses they choose. Masters is great, but it's overblown a bit IMO.
You always know what you’re going to get at The Masters. Weather is the only variable.

The US Open is great, but they have had some dog **** set ups.
I like Max Homa this weekend. It seems he likes to win when playing in Cali.

The definition of “par” is the number of strokes a scratch golfer should need to finish a hole or holes. Pro golfers are FAR better than scratch.

Padraig Harrington says he expects the slowest tournament, maybe, ever this week. Hard course, driveable par 4’s, reachable par 5’s and criss-crossing holes.
The one thing he did say is that he prefers a hard course over a tricked out, normally easy course, so there’s that, I guess.

I love this aspect. Really turns the screws on the mental aspect of the game.
It's on USA Network during the day, then a replay I guess at night on NBC. Anyone know if there is a free way to stream the USA Network during the day?
