My dad who was around his age said he was the greatest football player he had ever seen. IIRC during warmups Jim Brown would just do pushups at midfield while staring at the opposing team.Watching old NFL highlights is always a bit jarring.
Are they slowing it down for effect? Or are players nowadays just that much bigger and faster?
That being said, watching that highlight reel... there's a level of power, balance, speed, and just outright confidence in his running that defenders couldn't have hoped to match.
