Not real surprising. He didn’t get any run during a scrimmage on 4/8 I was at. Not even with the 3’s. Stinks we couldn’t use his athleticism but I trust this staff. Hopefully he lands somewhere that works for him

I watched so many of his high school highlight videos. He'd truck a dude on a QB run, then he'd throw a 40 yard bomb to a WR right in stride. I had him penciled in as the first ever QB/DL Heisman winner lol

So many & goal situations last year where I was screaming for them to use him as at least a lead blocker. I hope he thrives wherever he ends up I really wanted him to be our fridge

I suspect that he decided a while ago, and just announced now.

It’s not that he doesn’t have talent or couldn’t play. It’s that he has two very talented guys ahead of him on the depth chart eating up snaps—and if he transfers now, he can choose a place to play a lot this Fall.

Seems like the logical time if you weren't going to get a spot on the depth chart that you were hoping for.

I doubt very much he winds up DII. Or even FCS.

It's all just hype until they do it consistently under the lights but Brown leaving does make you think Orange is an omega bad ass.
