Only 1 OU player had more than 30 minutes last night. 9 had over 14 mins. Meanwhile, Lex, Em, and Ash all played 40.

I still think it’s a great match up for us, hopefully shots keep falling.

Should be an interesting game. If we play decent defense and shoot like we did Friday we might win by 10. We should have won at Norman, only lost on a missed shot with 4 seconds left that probably would have won the game and that was a game where we were playing through the shock of losing Soares in the first two minutes. Sooners all offense no defense has overwhelmed the weak lower tier of the Big 12 most of the season, it doesn't play as well against better teams.

We'll have to see if we are still smoking threes in the 4th quarter after back-to-back games. Maybe more of an issue if we make the final Sunday. Still, in back-to-back games for both teams the Sooners go deep and will be fresher. Maybe a factor late. Our players might have to pace themselves some as at least three are going close to 40 minutes again to day.

A win today will help us in the battle between a 5 and a 6 seed. I don't think after today much matters. If we make the champ game the committee will have already pretty much set the seeds and locations. They aren't waiting around for the results of one more game 30 games in (short of contingencies for a team outside the 64/4 winning a conference in an upset).

I know the ISU crowd nearly doubled in size last night after the men’s game finished. I expect all them back this afternoon. Gotta think any other ISU fans that did not come over from T-mobile last night are buying up any available tickets.

PACK THE MUNI!!!!
We left just before the men’s game ended and were part of a pretty big crowd headed to Municipal Auditorium. Following along on ESPN app had to do until we got there!

And they already know anywhere that’s even a possibility.

Overheard at breakfast in KC this morning: older couple wearing Oklahoma gear were discussing yesterday’s games. “I wondered how tall Ashley Joens was. It’s 6-1. She plays bigger than that.”

Would love to exact some revenge on the team where we lost Stephanie for the year. I think our NCAA seed is probably set, so let's go ahead and win the Big 12.

Interesting that Williams and Robertson played less than 30. I didn't see the game but they weren't in foul trouble. Williams is their best all around player and her stat line was pretty poor. Maybe Robertson was getting burned more than usual on defense or something? Seemed by following the score that it must have been quite a clunker of a game for the Sooners.

Cyclones like to grump about how physical teams get with Joens without ever acknowledging how physical Joens can be versus players who don't substantially oversize her. Sooners are small and pretty passive and Joens isn't a player they probably like seeing. She won't likely be shooting 15 threes today versus the smaller less physical Sooners. She'll probably dish out more more than she gets today, won't surprise me to see her shoot a dozen freebees if the passive Sooners try to be more physical. Ha, now watch it turn into a game of H-O-R-S-E with no defense, no fouls and a score in the 90's! ;)

Disclaimer: Just a fan spitballing to kill time on a snowy Saturday morning.

Willams is nursing a sore knee she got in their last regular season game

Thanks. I didn't see the game and thought it was curious. She is their best player for sure.

If she's not a 100% that tips the scale more to ISU than the 2.5 point spread IMHO.

Municipal Auditorium scoreboards stopped showing individual stats for much of the Texas-OSU game. If they don’t get that fixed, I’ll to follow the ESPN app. Geez Big12, WBB isn’t important enough to make sure two scoreboards work correctly?
