Thought I would start this to see what everyone is thinking,

POY: Joens? Harmon? M. Williams? Gregory?
FOY; Littlepage-Buggs or Fontroy. Fritz will be on the team but not the winner
NOY: I have no clue
Coach: Hoyt or Schaffer or Jennie?

I am just killing time before heading to the game.

I do not think there’s any doubt that Ashley Joens will be the player of the year. If she isn’t, it is an absolute travesty.

I would also think that Fritz would be an incredibly strong candidate for freshman of the year.

Coach of the year is a tough one. I sure hope that Vic doesn’t get it. I could see Jennie getting it.

2022-23 Phillips 66 All-Big 12 Women’s Basketball Awards Announced

Irving, Texas – Iowa State’s Ashley Joens was selected Big 12 Player of the Year and Texas’ Vic Schaefer was named Coach of the Year as the 2022-23 Phillips 66 All-Big 12 women’s basketball awards were unveiled. The awards were voted on by the head coaches, who could not vote for their own players.

I don't think there can be too many complaints about this.

It should have been Hoyt at OSU or the WVU coach; both of them exceeded expectations.

Saw some whining Texas fans on Twitter that felt Rori should have been POY. I don't know how you can be POY when you weren't even a unanimous first-team choice. Knowing who didn't vote for Rori for the first team would be interesting.

That had to be a per spite vote from one of the coaches. Your ballot would show that Harmon was NOT among the Top 10 players in the league.
