Dancing with myself (songs you only listen to alone)

I have a weird mix of musical tastes that span a very wide variety of genres. At any rate, I have a bunch of songs that only I listen to when alone, I suppose because I think others would think it was strange or out of character. This was one that brought this thread to mind. I just love her voice and the overall sound.

My embarrassing totally alone song is Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA.” But it lifts my mood.

I have a dog who jumps way too much so I grab his paws and dance with him and sing some Whitney, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.” FedEx guy caught me doing this in the yard and gave the dog double the usual amount of Milk Bones, probably out of pity.

And I used to love to sing Stevie Wonder’s “You Are the Sunshine of My Life,” to all my baby boys. Usually they either fell asleep or spit up milk, so not exactly an interested audience.

I have a horrible singing voice, but I sang to my boy when he was little, and I still sing to my dogs. Not sure that they like it lol.
