What the **** is happening at New Mexico State

Their last year has been wild. Had a football game canceled against San Jose State due to a murder on SJSU's campus, their 2 games against New Mexico in basketball canceled due to a player shooting and killing someone in an ambush attempt, and now....

I’m pretty sure their coach is originally from Iowa. Maybe high school at Wapsie Valley? And I believe he got a start with Euatachy at Southern Miss

Edit—yes from Iowa and southern Miss. no on being from wapsie. That’s Jans who is in his first year at Mississippi State and who was coach at New Mexico State before.
 
I’m seeing there’s possibilities of facilitating doping within the program, along with sexual assault allegations. What a dumpster fire, they had a pretty solid program in the 2010’s

They seem to always have some serious issues. Wasnt this Chris Jans last stop before he moved on.
 
If you hire Greg Heier, you get every bit of what you deserve. Absolute scum of the earth that should never have been allowed to lead young men. Guys that go full bag man for Eustachy, Marshall, Will Wade and Steve Forbes are not good people.

You napalmed what had been a pretty decent program for a long time.

I do not know a ton about Greg Heier, what's his deal.

They won a tournament game last year against UCONN in the classic 12 over 5 upset. Probably won't be making that tournament for a long time now.

Followed Chris Jans and both came over from Wichita State. All had issues. You can win at hoops,in my opinion, without getting down in the muck,for crying out loud.
 
Kind of wild that a shooting wasn't enough, although it sounds like the player hasn't been charged yet?
