Seems like new and strange applications of AI are popping up everywhere these days. Now we have an endlessly generated Seinfeld knockoff. It's fascinating and hilarious in it's awkwardness. On one hand it shows how far AI has to go, especially when it comes to something like comedy. On the other hand it also shows mankinds AI dystopian hell is probably just around the corner.

I watched this for a couple of minutes the other day, which is about as much as I could take. I guess you have to watch the Twitch stream, where the real good stuff happens in the chat section.

It‘s interesting in a way to see the AI constructing a scene that hangs together, with the dialogue connecting on previous dialogue to make something like a passable conversation. It’s not ever funny though, which makes the totally random laugh track even weirder.

Yeah, it never seems to take too long for these AI generated things to start spitting out something that's racist, sexist, or homophobic.
