I don’t want to steal his answer, so I will post my own. I don’t get the adoration for Caddyshack, The Blues Brothers, and some of the films of that era.

I mean, I can watch them. They are not like pulling out my fingernails. But I am usually thinking the whole time, “People have tattoos from THIS?”

Will Smith's line "now that's what I call a close encounter" is probably the biggest eyeroll moment for me in movie history. Ridiculous movie.

Saw a few minutes and just wasn't my thing. I have no interest in LOTR stuff either. I'm not a strange fiction type watcher.

This happens to me with a lot of the Oscar buzz type movies. I'll catch whatever movie happens to be getting the attention that year and it's usually fine, but I don't get what the hype is about.

But for me, it's A Christmas Story. It bored me as a kid, it bores me as an adult.

I have never seen a Christmas story or Christmas vacation and I have absolutely no desire to them. They don’t look entertaining to me.

Mine is probably mean girls. I don’t hate the movie, and it is quotable, but I think it was a very important movie for a lot of people in my age group and I just don’t really enjoy it

Also despised Top Gun. And Pretty Woman, Mamma Mia, and LaLa Land. Can’t stay awake through 2001: A Space Odyssey. And husband always wants to watch The Ten Commandments and I am always like, I know how this ends.
