Pitt could be a sneaky tough dual, especially with it being the day after WVU.

WVU Dual:
165: Carr vs #11 Hall (Hall gave O'Toole a match earlier this year and likes to slow things down similar to Sheets)
Hwt: Schuyler vs #25 Wolfgram (Wolfgram isn't ranked very high, and Schuyler should win, but they have a couple of close matches last year)

Pitt Dual:
133: Redding vs #7 Phillippi
141: Swiderski vs #3 Matthews
157: Kraisser vs #33 Casto
184: Coleman vs #19 Heller
197: Yonger vs #2 Bonaccorsi
Hwt: Schuyler vs #5 Pitzer

Pitt just stomped #7 Va Tech Friday night in Blacksburg. I was able to watch the end of the 133 match b/t #7 Phillipi and #5 Latona. Late 3rd, during a break, Latona was absolutely gassed--hands on knees, head down. Phillipi won in OT on riding time.

We'll need a good week of weight management from Redding and Swiderski with the back to back duals. I think Redding can get Phillippi if he is at his best

If Casey can get a W on Friday and get a little momentum going he is going to be a handful for Matthews.
At this point, I don’t buy it. Casey can’t get any offense going…at all. Add that to not being any good on top or bottom, and I’m just not sure how he wins going forward.

Hope to hell I’m wrong.

I think Casey is afraid to shoot and make mistakes that will put him on bottom. I think he has to go neutral against Matthews because I don't see him being able to get off of bottom against him.

I think you’re exactly right. Because he’s afraid to be on bottom, he’s totally neutered.

I think his shoulder is still bothering him, even if he wasn't wearing a brace. You can tell he is being careful about the shots he is taking and trying to avoid putting strain on that shoulder, which limits a lot of what he can do offensively

Wrestlestat has Pitzer at 11-1 over Sam. I will bet a bunch that won't happen!
As well as Sam is wrestling I have a hard time picking anyone that isn’t Parris, Kerk, Cass or Davison over him. Edit: and Schultz but even that match he was in on shots with a chance.

Pitzer is really good but I expect a real close one.

Maybe, but the only shot he seems comfortable even attempting is that freight train double. He hasn’t hit it on anyone of note lately. It’s getting stuffed before he can even get a hand on someone.

Isn't Pitzer redshirting this year? I believe that's why Flo took him off their rankings

At some point it's gonna click for Swiderski. I don't know that it will be this year, but it's going to. And when it does, Casey is going to be one dangerous mother ******.
There was a point yesterday where he was back to that little Metcalf in him and started getting really aggressive on the edge of the mat but never did anything with it. I think just shooting the guy off the mat and get a stall warning would have been big for him. It’s all in his head now.
