This really screws Seattle, IMO. The Niners have a ton of guys to run the ball (including Brock, if he would need to) and billion ways to do it. I don’t see a one dimensional Seahawks offense keeping pace against the niners D.

Seattle runs the ball just fine with Walker and Smith. While I don't see them winning the game, bad weather typically favors the underdog.

Bad weather is an equalizer. It increases the likelihood of turnovers and other crazy stuff happening which could favor either team. Don't love the weather, but whatever. Got to sack up and deal with it. At least they have been practicing in it all week.

That usually tends to be the case. What I will say is SF is a team that is built to be able to handle conditions like this, with a solid defense and a solid running game. But you're right - with an oversaturated grass turf and a wet football, anything can happen.

To me, it's more about that very large line on the game. -9.5 is predicting a blowout in the NFL. The weather makes that less likely IMO.

I've had something rattling around in my mind all season that I finally put into writing:

"The Brocksology"

Praise Brock from who our passes flow
Praise him all bleachers below
Praise him above ye studio host
Praise Kittle, Kyle, and Nick Bos … a-men.

Feel like nines D is the greatest strength in this game and a slog would highlight their front box dominance

A good Oline can help and from what I've seen SF has one of the better ones.

Add in very reliable TEs/WRs and they've got a chance.

Sounds a bit blasphemous...lol

How is everyone handling that both the basketball game and this game are on at the same time? I was going back-and-forth about it, but I think I’m going to just watch the Iowa State game live and record the niners game and start it up right after the ISU game. I don’t really want to watch both games at the same time because then I’ll miss something from both games.

Don't think the wind and rain favors the 49ers. I think it limits what the 49ers more of what they need to do offensively. Seattle is going to force Brock to throw into tight windows. Hope he makes enough throws to advance.

Yea Seattle never gets any rain…
