According to Joe Frog he was in line to be the head guy at ISU.

Him coming back as OC was less realistic of a pipe dream than me having a chance of getting laid tonight (which is a 0% chance). It would be more the equivalent of me getting laid ten times tonight.

He may end up being a great head coach BUT I think many may find the genius of Huepel’s offense and a guy named Hendon Hooker had much more to do with Tennessee’s year. If Golesh is smart, he will take all he learned from
Huepel and make that his offense if he can moving forward as a head coach.

He led a productive recruiting era while in Ames...so I assume he is good at is and likely enjoys that part of coaching! If so...he can get it done!
