Stealing a 14 Foot Skeleton

I see those skeletons everywhere this year. Is that a new thing?

They've been around for a few years now. Think they're like $400 at home Depot, but the past few years they've sold out right away. Often see people trying to sell them for $600+ on FB marketplace.

It amazes me how stupid people can be in this day of age where there are cameras everywhere that will likely capture you. First off this is in broad daylight which takes a lot of guts and 2nd all common sense is going to tell you that thing won't fit in the back of your SUV by just eyeballing it.

We have idiots that have been doing "ding dong ditch" pranks overnight in town lately and people have been sharing their videos on social media to call them out as they are usually some punk kids. Other times people will try to check cars in driveways for unlocked doors too. We had the sheriff's bust a group that was doing that last winter and apparently the getaway vehicle was parked in our drive. We didn't have a camera at the time but 2 neighbors sent me videos of it that morning so that was the point I caved in and bought 2 cameras so if something like that happens again and I have it captured. I even installed new dusk to dawn light fixtures on the outside of the house with daylight LEDs and get great quality at night vs the night vision option which is black and white so I'm going to get a clear picture if anything happens.

I don't do the political sign thing in my yard but there are some funny videos on youtube where people will booby-trap signs someone has been trying to take with electric or secured to something when they take off it won't go far. Seen one that put razors around one which yeah its dangerous but if you tresspass and get hurt from them then that is your own fault IMO. Similar kinds of things too with setting up bait for porch pirates and packages too. Stuff like that I say the person who is dumb enough to try and steal stuff deserves whatever they have coming to them from that.

LMAO

A neighbor up the street has 3 of these things in their lawn. 2 of them have sort of a cool looking flame effect that comes from the rib cage area.

Dusk to Dawn lights? I assume your house looks like this now...

No I just bought 4 LED lights for my outdoor fixtures that automatically come on when it gets dark and turn off once it is daylight again. Works nice so I don't have to manually turn on/off my outdoor lights on the garage/front door areas everyday

Man. Another way technology is destroying childhood. As annoying as getting ding dong ditched may be, it's almost like a rite of passage for a kid.
