Just a few days away. 76ers vs Celtics and Lakers vs Warriors opening night.

Speaking of Warriors:

Looking forward to seeing what my Timberwolves look like this year. A much different team with the addition of Gobert.

Just turned it on. Looks like Niang has had a few minutes but not a lot of stats. How'd he look?
Haven’t caught much but noticed pj tucker has gotten a lot of run tonight and am thinking maybe he’s cut into niangs minutes? Can’t say I get it although I don’t think niang has ever matched up well with the Celtics before… not sure tucker does any better though. Seems like doc is going with a bigger lineup to the celts smaller one.

Looks to me LeBron is going to have to try and carry the Lakers. He just can’t do that anymore at his age and it showed last season. Other than Davis, just not a good supporting cast.

Look at the minutes played by Golden St's starters vs Philly/Boston starters. Golden St's depth is going to be a huge boost to them this year. Klay playing 20 mins, Curry the only one over 30. That's going to really add up over the course of a year.

Meanwhile, the Lakers bench could pass for a G league bench.

Even peak LeBron couldn't carry this supporting cast. Where have you gone Mario Chalmers?

Gonna be weird watching Monte play for the Wizards

Are the Wizards the most depressing team in the league? They aren't good, never seem to have any sort of plan for how to improve, but with Beal and Porzingis and some competent role players they'll be fine. Play in game ceiling, 30 win floor. They need to finally move Beal and get in the Wembanyama sweepstakes.

Gotta be either them or the Kings. Trading Haliburton still continues to be dumb.

Overall, I agree, but I like the moves the Kings have made this offseason, I think they make the playoffs and will be pretty fun to watch. Really liked picking up Huerter, Sabonis and Fox played really well together offensively at the end of last year and now they have a lot more shooting around them. Murray looks like the most NBA ready guy from the draft. They at least have hope for this season.
