Its almost like this staff knows how to identify good RB's.
Love Jirehl! I've been a big fan of him since the beginning of the season.... unlike some on here who were calling for Norton to move to #1 after just 3 carries.
Brock has had two great games so far. Yes, he has to hold onto the ball on the 1 yd line, but it's not like he has fumbling issues.... it was just a freak thing.
He could also probably do one less juke sometimes, but it's not much of an issue at all.
He's playing great!
He was averaging 5 ypc until those last two drives when we went into stall mode with the ball. Dude was taking pretty much all of yesterday against the iowa front 7 (shout out to the o line btw- they did awesome yesterday).
He sure has a knack for finding seems. Some of those runs were devastating to the defense.

But it's not too hard to go out on a limb for a guy who ran for over 100 yds in game one. Just couldn't believe anyone would already be calling for the 2nd string guy after that.
So glad he was in white and not in black yesterday!! If I remember right Iowa recruited him pretty hard.

Yea I’m thinking of Sanders gets a crease which he really hasn’t yet, look out.
Brock was had a strong game overall and will be a great back for us. But goal line fumbles are a big deal. This was true of Hall's last year as well.
Those two empty red zone possessions were huge.
Also - there is no such thing as a bad road win.
Ex the fumble, which was really untypical, he really is playing well.
Great job out of Brock but I’m going to take every opportunity to give the Oline credit for yesterday. Keep building on this game guys!
Agree.... I can't wait to see a lot more of Norton, but I hope we don't rush him back either. Brock, Sanders, and Silas are more than capable of handling the duties until Norton is fully healthy.
