What do you think are the worst changes within or around the various programs? Parking, game-day traditions, cutting programs, etc?

Personally;

1 - Not using running Cy enough.
2 - Getting rid of the blimp in Hilton.
3 - Getting rid of the Helmet mobile at FB games.
4 - Plan to get rid of half the big parking between Hilton and JTS (BB parking is going to suck ass).

Running Cy and it isn't close. They branding identity has been screwed up for decades. Running Cy is the GOAT and theres hardly any debate. Slap him on a everything and walk away. For proof, put it on a helmet and watch everyone go apeshit. It's such a stupid and unnecessary massive miss by the AD.

#4 is already a problem acres of parking go underused during MBB. They close off way too many sections for passes that I believe are never issued.

Other than some of the decisions regarding support of football in the 80s and early 90s, the one that sucks the most is getting rid of baseball. College baseball is starting to grow as a sport and it would be nice if ISU still had a team.

Not emphasizing football after losing Majors and Earl Bruce. If we had done what Iowa did and prioritize it in the early 80s we are likely in a better spot, from a realignment standpoint.

Not emphasizing football after losing Majors and Earl Bruce. If we had done what Iowa did and prioritize it in the early 80s we are likely in a better spot, from a realignment standpoint.

Would we truly be in a better spot? Demographically the situation still looks more or less the same: we'd still be in a low population state, and we'd still be sharing it with another major college program. Maybe we're a bit higher up the pecking order in a still-not-all-that-desirable conference, but what does that get us?

Iowa, the school that "prioritized football" - which is too often code for simply having lucked into a good coaching hire - would be in our situation if they hadn't had the good fortune of being in the B1G already.

Basically when you're describing is Kansas State, and they're no better off than we are.
