It’s a total clusterf*ck. Good luck.We got tickets and are attending the Cyhawk game this year. Any advice on best places to tailgate?
Its a **** show unless you have a buddy with a house near the stadium.
Depends on what you like. Best thing about tailgating Iowa games is all the different types of set ups. If you're into big open lots with tons of space I'd go Finkbine commuter lot. If you're into a smaller scene there are all kinds of yard parties in Melrose Heights to the west of the stadium along Melrose Ave. and the side streets. We’re probably going to try the Finkbine commuter lot. I tried to call to buy a pass in advance but you have to have tickets through UofI to buy the pass. Since ours are the Cyclone allotment they didnt let me buy a pass. Said we have to show up on gameday only. And it could be sold out pre-saleDepends on what you like. Just heard the Hawkeye Commuter lot is a free one and has a free bus that drops off by stadium. We’re probably going to try the Finkbine commuter lot. Its funny, we went to the Oklahoma game last year and they mostly all park around their basketball arena and have like a dozen commuter shuttles running people in to the stadium. We really are lucky we have the tailgating setup that we do.Just heard the Hawkeye Commuter lot is a free one and has a free bus that drops off by stadium.
